We went to wales looking for a pony we could show. Our daugher had got bored with lead rein etc. So Phil decided he would show something in hand. So off we went we stayed with my cousin Gail & John Roberts fron the Nantalis Stud. We we going around a few studs to just see what we liked. On the Saturday morning we went up to their stables, we looked in the box and my word what a lovely looking lad. Gail and John never said much about the pony at all. So off we went for the day, we looked around a few studs, had a super time. That evening Phil asked John about the colt we had seen in their stables. He was for sale, but they did not want to push him forward, wanted us to have a look around. No good we fell in love with him, and so that is how we bought Ffransis.
Phil showed Ffransis at local level to start with, as we had not really a clue about this in hand showing.
He did very well, we moved on to County etc.
Ffransis has sired so lovely ponies, he has passed on his terrific front and neck. A real super pony to do in every way, and so handsome.
